Find out how to become one of the hunreds of Australian companies taking advantage of EMDG. If you’re growing your business internationally and incurring overseas marketing expenses in the process, you may be eligible to claim back these costs through the Austrade Export Market Development Grant.

The Austrade EMDG incentive's purpose is to give Australian businesses assistance with expanding overseas and can include reimbursement for:

  • Promotional marketing and materials
  • Travel costs
  • Registration of IP
  • Hiring overseas sales staff

If you’ve spent a minimum of $15,000 between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017 to market your business overseas (NZ is not included in this unfortunately), you could be eligible to receive up to 50% of those costs back.

The 1st of July signals the new EMDG period and the IGNITE Grants Team are ready to provide an initial free eligibility assessment for your business.

The grant is assessed and paid out on a first come, first serve basis, so we recommend a meeting so you can start planning and recording now!

To book your free eligibility assessment or to just learn more about the EMDG Grant simply give us a call on 1300 22 46 86 and we’ll book a time that suits you.
